Ehsaas Programme Registration 2026 Open for Eligible Citizens: Apply Now

In 2026, the Government of Pakistan has expanded the Ehsaas Programme Registration 2026 network to include 9 million deserving families. The program is no longer just a temporary relief; it is now a permanent social safety net providing financial dignity to the poor, widows, and people with disabilities.

Quick Facts for 2026 Registration

Feature Update for 2026
Current Payment Rs. 13,500 (Quarterly)
Registration Status Open (via NSER Dynamic Survey)
Check Code 8171 (SMS and Web Portal)
Poverty Score (PMT) Must be below 32
Target Group Low-income families, Widows, Transgender persons

Who is Eligible for the 2026 Phase?

The government uses the Poverty Means Test (PMT) to decide who gets the money. You are eligible if:

  • Income Level: Your monthly household income is less than Rs. 30,000 to 40,000.

  • Identity: You are a Pakistani citizen with a valid CNIC.

  • Occupation: No family member works in a government department.

  • Assets: You do not own a car or more than 5 acres of agricultural land.

  • Travel History: You have not traveled abroad for luxury or work (excluding Hajj/Umrah).

How to Register: The “Dynamic Survey” Method

Many people look for an “online registration form,” but in 2026, initial registration is only done in person through the NSER Dynamic Survey. This is to prevent fraud and ensure the data is 100% correct.

Step-by-Step Registration Process:

  1. Visit Office: Go to your nearest BISP/Ehsaas Tehsil Registration Center.

  2. Required Documents: Take your original CNIC and the B-Forms of your children. Also, bring a recent electricity or gas bill.

  3. Survey Counter: The staff will ask you questions about your house, family members, and income.

  4. Fingerprint: You will provide a thumbprint for biometric verification.

  5. Confirmation: You will receive a receipt. Within a few weeks, you will get an SMS from 8171 confirming your eligibility.

How to Check Your Status Online (8171 Portal)

Once you have registered, you don’t need to visit the office again to check your money. You can do it from home:

  • Via SMS: Open your phone’s message app, type your 13-digit CNIC number, and send it to 8123 or 8171.

  • Via Web Portal: Visit the official 8171.bisp.gov.pk website. Enter your CNIC and the captcha code. It will instantly show if your payment of Rs. 13,500 has been released.

New Feature: The 8171 Digital Wallet

Starting in 2026, the government has introduced the 8171 Wallet Account.

  • Eligible women can now receive their money directly in a mobile wallet linked to their CNIC.

  • This means you don’t have to wait in long lines at banks or campsites.

  • You can withdraw your cash from any partner bank ATM (like HBL or Bank Alfalah) using your thumbprint.

What to Do if You Were Previously “Ineligible”?

If you were disqualified in the past, 2026 is your chance for a Re-survey.

  • Go to the Tehsil office and ask for an “Appeal” or a “New Survey.”

  • The government has updated the poverty thresholds due to high inflation, so many families who were “Ineligible” before are now becoming “Eligible.”

Important Safety Warnings

  • Official Number: Only trust messages from 8171. If you get a message from a personal mobile number, it is a SCAM.

  • No Fees: Registration is 100% FREE. If any official or agent asks for “service charges,” report them to the BISP helpline at 0800-26477.

  • Full Payment: When you collect your money, always ask for the full amount (Rs. 13,500). Do not give “commissions” to anyone.
