Benazir Nashonuma Program Center 2026 – Rs. 4500 Aid & Free Nutrition

In February 2026, the Benazir Nashonuma Program has entered its most robust phase yet, following a major expansion agreement with the World Food Programme (WFP) and the World Health Organization (WHO). The program now covers 157 districts with over 560 Facilitation Centers nationwide.

The most critical update for 2026 is the stipend increase and the integration of specialized medical treatment for children with acute malnutrition.

What is New in 2026?

  • Stabilization Centers: 40 new nutrition stabilization centers have been established (totaling 169) to provide life-saving treatment for severely malnourished children.
  • Travel Allowance: Beneficiaries now receive Rs. 500 as a travel incentive for every visit to the center for health check-ups.
  • Expanded Footprint: The program is no longer a pilot; it is operational in every district of Pakistan, including mobile units in remote areas of Sindh and KP.

To qualify, your family must be active in the BISP Kafaalat database. The cash is a “top-up” added to your regular BISP installment.

Registration Process (2026 Update)

There is no online registration for Nashonuma. You must visit a center in person to ensure the health of the mother/child is monitored.

  1. Check Kafaalat Status: SMS your CNIC to 8171 to ensure you are a BISP beneficiary.
  2. Visit Center: Go to the “Benazir Nashonuma Facilitation Center” at your nearest DHQ or THQ Hospital.
  3. Documentation: Bring your original CNIC and the child’s NADRA B-Form.
  4. Health Screening: A Lady Health Visitor (LHV) will record weight and height.
  5. Biometric: Complete the thumbprint verification.
  6. Receive SNF: Get your stock of Maamta (for mothers) or Wawamum (for children) sachets.

Mandatory “Conditions” to Keep Receiving Money

Nashonuma is a “Conditional Cash Transfer.” To keep receiving the quarterly payment, you must:

  • Attend Awareness Sessions: Participate in nutrition and hygiene training at the hospital.
  • Medical Check-ups: Ensure pregnant women have at least 4 antenatal check-ups.
  • Immunization: Children must be up-to-date on all basic vaccines.
  • SNF Consumption: The specialized food sachets must be used as directed (not sold or shared).

How to Track Your Payment?

You can check if your Nashonuma “top-up” has been credited by visiting the 8171 Web Portal. It will show your Kafaalat payment and Nashonuma amount separately.
