In February 2026, the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has entered a critical new phase. The “door-to-door” survey model is being supplemented by BISP Mobile Registration Vans and permanent Dynamic Survey Centers in over 600 tehsils.
If your last survey was conducted before 2023, or if you haven’t been visited by a team, you are now required to visit a Tehsil office to avoid being dropped from the list. The quarterly installment has also been officially updated to Rs. 13,500 (with some inflationary adjustments in specific regions reaching up to Rs. 14,500).

Who Must Register in 2026?
The “Dynamic Survey” is a rolling process. You must take action if:
- New Families: You have never been registered and your monthly income is below Rs. 50,000.
- Existing Beneficiaries: Your last survey is older than 3 years. You must “re-certify” at a BISP office before the February 28, 2026 deadline to keep receiving payments.
- Changed Status: You were previously “Ineligible” but your financial situation has worsened (e.g., job loss, death of a breadwinner).
The 3-Step Registration Process (2026 Update)
Step 1: The BISP Tehsil Office Visit
Unlike previous years where teams mostly came to you, the Dynamic Survey 2026 primarily happens at the office.
- Locate your nearest center via the 8171 portal.
- Saturday Service: Offices are now open on Saturdays specifically for elderly citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and the transgender community.
Step 2: Digital Interview & Documentation
You must bring the following Original Documents (Photocopies are not accepted):
- CNIC: Valid and updated with NADRA.
- B-Forms: For all children in the household (required for Taleemi Wazaif scholarships).
- Utility Bills: Electricity or gas bill (used to verify your address and PMT score).
- Disability/Widow Certificates: If applicable, to qualify for extra benefits.
Step 3: Biometric Data Entry
The surveyor will enter your household details into a tablet. You will be asked about assets (cattle, land, motorcycles). Note: In 2026, owning a small motorcycle no longer automatically disqualifies you, but a high electricity bill (above Rs. 5,000–8,000) might.
How to Check Your 2026 PMT Score
Your eligibility depends on your Poverty Means Test (PMT) score.
- PMT < 32: Eligible for Kafaalat (Cash aid).
- PMT < 35: Eligible for Taleemi Wazaif (School stipends).
- PMT < 40: Eligible for various Ration/Ramadan subsidies.
Verification Tip: Send your CNIC to 8171 via SMS. In 2026, this service is fully restored for Jazz and Zong users, though Telenor users may experience delays and are advised to use the 8171.bisp.gov.pk web portal instead.
