How to Check BISP Balance Online (2026 Method)

The portal has been upgraded for faster results on mobile devices.

Method 1: The 8171 Web Portal

  1. Go to the official site: 8171.bisp.gov.pk.
  2. Enter your 13-digit CNIC number.
  3. Enter the 4-digit Captcha Code (the numbers shown in the image).
  4. Click Submit to see your current balance and payment date.

Method 2: 8171 SMS Service

If you don’t have internet, send your CNIC number to 8171. You will receive a message confirming your eligibility. If it says “Survey Required,” you must visit a BISP office for Recertification to avoid being blocked in the next quarter.

The New “6-Bank” Withdrawal System

In 2026, BISP has moved away from crowded campsites. You can now withdraw your Rs. 13,500 directly from ATMs using biometric verification.

  • Partner Banks: Bank of Punjab (BOP), HBL, Bank Alfalah, UBL, National Bank (NBP), and JazzCash/Easypaisa.
  • ATM Steps:
    1. Go to a biometric-enabled ATM of a partner bank.
    2. Select “BISP” or “Ehsaas” on the screen (usually under the Urdu menu).
    3. Enter your CNIC.
    4. Place your thumb on the scanner.
    5. Collect your full Rs. 13,500. No one is allowed to deduct even 1 Rupee from this.

Understanding Your PMT Score

Your eligibility is based on your Poverty Means Test (PMT) score from the latest Dynamic Survey.

  • 0 – 32: Fully eligible for all BISP cash grants.
  • 33 – 35: Eligible for CM Punjab Ration Card (Rs. 3,000/month) but not BISP Kafaalat.
  • Above 35: Generally ineligible. If your financial status has changed, you can request a Re-Survey at the Tehsil office.
